This vintage pencil box is hand-carved from rosewood and embellished with brass accents. The interior is sectioned into two compartments to help keep you organized. A side drawer pulls out for additional storage. The side drawer is locked into place by a small pin that is hidden on the inside of the box. The rich rosewood color makes this box a handsome addition to your desktop.

Surashree Rabadia's vivid oil painting depicts Shakti, the concept of feminine energy and creation. The artist has chosen to personify Shakti as the female figure in the center of the painting. Subtle symbols stretch across the entire painting, while 5 main symbols grab our attention. A trident reminds us of Shiva's three roles as creator, destroyer, and preserver. Below the trident sits a vessel, which has multiple meanings ranging from an overflowing of good fortune to fertility. Strength anchors the painting and is shown through the ferociousness of the tiger. The tiger's power is balanced by the delicate blush-colored lotus flower representing beauty and purity. Lastly, the sound of a conch shell signifies the beginning, or creation, of an important event. Contrasting colors captivate the viewer and help us to understand the complexity of Shakti. Framed.

Our vintage brass Tara is depicted in a fluid moment of motion. She is dressed in a delicate drape and adorned with jewelry. Detailed floral and vine etchings cover the bottom half of Tara's clothing. The graceful figure is welded to an iron stand.
