This wonderful cotton pichwai depicts gopis, or attendants of Krishna. The gopis are seen carrying fans, necklaces, fly whisks, and other objects. Multiple birds sit atop the three large trees.  A row of bulls and soft pink lotus flowers are shown towards the bottom. A floral pattern and individual gopis border the piece. The gold paint adds dimension and makes this a truly beautiful textile.

Our Mochi embroidered Krishna and Radha Pichwai depicts both Krishna and Radha surrounded by lush flowers and multiple sacred cows. The cows are depicted in neutral tones, while both Radha and Krishna have a more vibrant color palette. The pichwai is bordered by a floral and vine pattern. Silk thread on cotton. Mochi, or cobbler, embroidery is a special embroidery technique which uses an awl.

Krishna and Shrinathji stand in the center of our Lotus Pichwai. Krishna is seen at the top depicted in movement playing the flute. Shrinathji is shown in the center in an elaborate yellow garment with a floral garland. He holds up his left hand to symbolize lifting Govardhan Hill to protect the village from a flood. Shrinathji and Krishna are surrounded by sacred cows. The cows are shown in a neutral tone on a muted yellow background. Four rows of soft pink and green lotus flowers on a gray background anchor the image.
