Surashree Rabadia's vivid oil painting depicts Shakti, the concept of feminine energy and creation. The artist has chosen to personify Shakti as the female figure in the center of the painting. Subtle symbols stretch across the entire painting, while 5 main symbols grab our attention. A trident reminds us of Shiva's three roles as creator, destroyer, and preserver. Below the trident sits a vessel, which has multiple meanings ranging from an overflowing of good fortune to fertility. Strength anchors the painting and is shown through the ferociousness of the tiger. The tiger's power is balanced by the delicate blush-colored lotus flower representing beauty and purity. Lastly, the sound of a conch shell signifies the beginning, or creation, of an important event. Contrasting colors captivate the viewer and help us to understand the complexity of Shakti. Framed.

This beaded crocodile visually captivates with its bold assortment of colorful glass beads. Each bead has been sewn by hand. Geometric shapes adorn the head and tail. The center of the crocodile shows a static human face and moving animal. Cowrie shells are sewn on both the head and extremities. A beaded loop is sewn to the top of the crocodile to allow the piece to be hung on a wall. The shape of the crocodile makes it a great option for those narrow walls in your home, especially in between doors and windows. Staining on fabric.
