Our striking Heart Door features a beautifully aged patina that highlights the door’s history. Hand-carved from teak wood, the door is composed of two vertical panels. Each panel is divided into five sections and framed with carved molding. The upper panels arch gracefully to form a mihrab shape. The most unique feature of this door are the two hearts carved into the astragal. It’s a charming architectural feature that make this door one of a kind. Metal ring pulls and studs add ornamental detail throughout the frame. The natural wear and texture visible on the surface speak to the door’s age and history, evoking the timeless character of traditional Indian craftsmanship. This door is hand-carved from pine. Carved paneling adds dimension to each door panel. The double door has 2 handles and a latch. The entire piece is finished in a subtle blue tone. Inner: Approximately 48" x 96" Outer: Approximately 54" x 101"
